1) All bookings made are subject to our terms and conditions. This applies regardless of whether the terms and conditions have been received prior to making the booking. The hirer has an obligation to abide by our terms and conditions which are essential to good management and the enjoyment of others on the Park.
2) We have a strict no dog policy due to our children’s allergy. Dogs should not enter the caravan at any point - failure to do so will result in a £25 deep clean charge and you will be asked to leave the park with no refund being provided.
3) Our accommodation is independent and family run hiring out privately at Haggerston Castle. We are not connected to Haven or Bourne Leisure.
4) In the likelihood that Haven changes the entertainment programme or cancels any services or facilities, we cannot be held responsible.
5) The caravan assigned to the hirer may be used only for holiday purposes and will not be used for over occupying more persons than the number of berths indicated by us (with exception of babies in cots specified at the time of booking).
6) Under 18s must always be supervised in the holiday property by a responsible adult over 18 .
7) All bookings are non-transferrable which means you cannot transfer your holiday to another guest or party.
8) The Hirer is responsible for the conduct of his/her guests & family & shall take steps to ensure that their behaviour does not cause a nuisance, inconvenience or disturbance to other occupiers or cause damage to property belonging to our property or such other occupiers.
9) We will not accept any liability for any personal injury, loss or damage to the hirer's property or any members of the hirer’s party.
10) The Hirer’s vehicle is parked entirely at his/her risk. We are not liability whatsoever in respect of any damage caused by or to the vehicle from whatever cause or for the loss or damage to articles left therein. Hirer’s must park on the designated parking space.
11) All refuse or litter is to be deposited in the refuse bins provided and the area surrounding the holiday home. The nearest bin is found just around the corner when leaving the van and turning right.
12) The holiday home is to be kept in a clean and tidy condition failure to do so will result in the loss of deposit.
13) Bookings cannot be made for all male/female groups or stag or hen parties - these are park rules.
14) Refunds will not be given when we cancel the hire due to failure to pay for any outstanding balance by the specified date. In the event that we need to cancel the hire where the hirer is not at fault a full refund will be given.
15) There is strictly no smoking or vaping.In the event that guests are found to be smoking in the caravan including the decking area you will be asked to leave immediately without any refund.
16) We do not supply park passes for the park however we will send you a link to purchase these following payment. Booking access to all activities will then be possible.
17) We cannot accept any responsibility for the breakdown or malfunction of any equipment in any accommodation but will endeavour to repair or replace the equipment as soon as possible.
18) We, or Haggerston Castle staff, reserves the right to enter any accommodation at any reasonable time for the purpose of checking condition, or repairs, or any emergency.
19) We reserve the right to refuse any booking for any reason expressed or otherwise.
20) Any issues regarding the holiday home must be sent via text/inbox message, phone call (or through Airbnb if booked there) and must be sent by the person booking the caravan. Complaints sent by a third party cannot be considered or acted upon.
21) No refund will be made to the hirer whose hiring has commenced and who vacates the caravan for any reason including an emergency at home.
22) BBQs must not be lit on the decking. Please light safely away from the caravan being mindful of nearby wildlife and fire safety
23) Unless booking via Airbnb, The final balance including security deposit must be paid within 4 weeks of the holiday date unless on an agreed payment plan. It is the hirer’s responsibility to contact to make payment arrangements. If payment is not made within 4 weeks we are entitled to resell the date.
24) If the hirer fails to show up for their booking, no refund will be given.
25) If the Hirer has made a booking and needs to change the date due to change of circumstances, we can in good faith move it to a new available date if possible should the original date be more than 4 weeks away.
26) Unless booking via Airbnb, A cleaning and damage deposit of £75 is required in advance of your arrival. If the caravan is found to be in a reasonable condition at the time of your departure a full return will be issued within five working days of your departure. We will contact you within 48 hours of the departure to request your bank sort code and account number.
27) Should any damage or theft take place above £75 the Hirer agrees to cover all costs above the £75. In the event that damage is made to the caravan and the caravan is unable to be re-let the Hirer agrees to cover all sub sequential losses.
28) In the event of malicious damage being made to the caravan, we retain the right to ask the Hirer to leave and the site security reserve the right to contact the Police.
29) All breakages and damage must be paid for in full.
30) Departure times are 11am on the departure day. When you check out you are kindly asked to text/call to notify us.
31) The Hirer’s belongings should be removed from the caravan. We cannot be held responsible for any belongings that are left in our caravans. Any items needing returning the hirer is responsible for any postage and packaging costs.
32) The Hirer agrees not to remove any of property from the caravan.
33) The Hirer agrees that reasonable use of gas and electric are included in the holiday price excessive use will incur a further charge. The Hirer agrees to turn off any heating in the caravan on departure. Failure to do so will result in a £20 fuel charge.
34) The Hirer agrees to clean the property prior to leaving.
35) The Hirer agrees to ensure that all kitchenware (cutlery, dishes, plates, cups, pans) and have been washed prior to departure.
36) The Hirer agrees to clean the oven trays after their use.
37) Linen is provided free of charge. (If using your own linen this must be specified before your stay no discount given for using your own linen). Please bring your own towels.
38) To protect the carpets and vinyl flooring we request that all outdoor footwear is removed as soon as you enter the holiday home.
39) The owner requires ALL names and vehicle registrations of the party prior to arrival. This is so the owner is able to register your arrival. Failure to do so will result in the party being denied access to the site without refund.
40) Check in is from 14.00 and occupants must leave by 11am on departure day. Keys will be in lock box located on decking and code will be given on arrival information sent via email before arrival. We kindly ask for keys to be returned to the lock box on day of departure.
41) Any BBQ's used whilst staying must NOT be used on the decking. They can be used on the grass area away from caravans and gas bottles.
42) Do not disarm smoke alarms.
43) Do not use fire extinguishers/blankets unless there is an emergency. Inform the owner immediately if they have been used. If they are found to be used for any other reason than an emergency, this will be chargeable. Payment will be taken form security deposit and the owner reserves the right to seek further payment for damage caused by improper use of fire equipment.
44)All electrical appliances provided in the caravan have been portable appliance tested. Use your own electrical appliances at your own risk.
45) Electric vehicles must not be charged from the caravan, failure to adhere to this will put your security deposit at risk.
By booking and paying you're holding deposit this means all 45 points are covered by us regardless if you took time to read them or not
